Fabulous service from Sam and the team. A totally different customer service experience than have ever had elsewhere. From the moment we phoned to enquire about the vehicle they made us feel that they genuinely wanted to help us find the right vehicle for us. No pushy sales talk, plenty of time to look around the vehicle. Sam is clearly very knowledgeable especially about Landrovers. He and Jayc took time to answer all our questions. They went above and beyond in preparing the vehicle and changed belts that most other garages wouldn't have bothered to. The vehicle required 2 new tyres for MOT and again, unlike other garages, they contacted us and said they would be putting budget tyres on but gave us the option to pay for better ones if we wanted. On pick up day they were on hand to help with taxing the vehicle online ( I hate technology!) and had even put fuel in although there was a garage just a couple of mins away. Their attention to detail was not just about the car but also to their customer experience. Would highly recommend Smithfield. We will be returning!

I enquired about a Range Rover and agreed an appointment with Sam to view and test drive it. The car was ready when I got there to test drive. There was no pressure on the test drive and the lady who accompanied me, answered all questions and concerns accurately and confidently. Sam kept in contact with me with updates on jobs carried out from purchasing to collecting. I live an hour away from the garage. On day of collection, the car was ready to go, as agreed, looking amazing. The whole experience has been superb. Sam is courteous, friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble. How It Should Be
Was really happy with Sam and his team from first point of contact to last point of collection. The car was as described, which you need when travelling 400 miles to collect a vehicle. The garage was well presented, clean and organised. Sam collected me from the hotel, I was then offered a test drive and the deal was finalised. I felt very comfortable with him, being a single lady, and he was very helpful. I was unexpectedly able to take the car away with me the same day I viewed it, which really helped, as it meant I could avoid another 3 hour journey. He even kept the garage open in the afternoon to wait for me to arrive, when it have normally been closed. Since my purchase, Sam has been very helpful with advice and information, contacting myself promptly and after hours. I had a manufacturer issue with my car after purchasing (nothing to do with Smithfield Motors) and Sam arranged for this to be resolved promptly on behalf of myself and paid for the repair. This was one of the most incredible purchase of my adult life for 2 reasons. And both reasons speak to Sam's business and the kind of person he is as a whole. After seeing the advert on the website, I dropped him a message with my proposal with meagre hopes of being accepted.

The proposal was unusual as it meant him holding the car with a token amount sent by someone abroad. Yes! I was purchasing the car from outside the UK before I moved as it meant that I had a car upon reaching. Not only did Sam accept the proposal by putting his trust in a complete stranger but went above and beyond in assisting me every step of the way. That meant countless bank transfer issues, showing the car on video calling and assuring me of things being okay. Not only did that make me feel a million times better about this but my first contact with someone from UK was incredible.

The second reason further augments his kindness and empathy, not to mention his professionalism and a genuine helping nature wherein he not only sent a car to pick me and my parents from Wrexham to his dealership but drove the car back with another personnel when I requested him given that in the States we drive the other way and I wasn't used to driving the opposite way. (I had just moved 24 hours prior to meeting him). During the time in the dealership, He also asked his personnel to take us to a nearby diner so we could have lunch and then sent them to pick us up back to dealership. What more could you want!

The vehicle was in great condition and Sam made sure we were satisfied. And finally, the after sales service. To this day, he continues to be someone who answers random questions with the same professionalism and kindness. Not only am I recommending this place but hoping that my next purchase is undoubtedly going to be from this person.

People and businesses like these are not only rare but are sadly far and few in between. Thanks Sam. Keep doing what you do.

Sam runs a very personable and professional auto business. I drove up from Dorking to inspect a used XC70 Volvo. These are no longer manufactured and was expecting to see some wear and tear. As promised, the car was immaculate inside and out. We took it on a test drive and everything met expectation. Just been to Smithfield garage (off Shrewsbury road) to get some engine coolant for my car I phoned up to see if they had any in stock I was phoned back 5 minutes later to say they had & to bring my car down I was met by Sam the owner & was met with a handshake & warm welcome

Recently bought my new car, an Audi rs4 from Sam at Smithfield motors. Communication and help/guidance throughout the process was faultless from start to finish, even gave advice on my mortgage dilemma which was delaying the car purchase. No pushy sales and left to spend as much time inspecting the car as I wanted. I spent a good while looking for one of these rs4's and I got the perfect project I was looking for from Sam at a very reasonable price too.

Recently purchased a Ferrari California from Smithfield motors , Sam had my c63 and triumph 1200 scrambler motorcycle in part exchange.
From the test drive to sorting out number plate changes , finance , collecting the car the whole experience was fantastic.
After a few weeks there was a noise from the rear of the car . A quick phone call and they had it back to look at . Ordered new wheel bearings/hub , all fitted and back with me in 4 Days . I couldn't recommend these guys enough.

We contacted the garage about our car and because we lived a couple of hours away, Sam sent us a detailed video inside and out of the vehicle. We travelled down a few days later to buy it. We purchased a Range Rover from Smithfield Motors back in Jan 2023 and have had a full year with no problems with the car. Just took it back there for service and MOT to which car past with no issues. We also have another vehicle which we had a problem getting started at home. Spoke to Sam and he arranged to come out to us the following day. He diagnosed the fault which turned out to be the starter motor and said he would hopefully source one and come back later in the day. A couple of hours passed and he was back, ten minutes later all fixed! All done on our drive! Really can't ask for more and like many people have said Sam and the team go out of their way and offer a fantastic all round service.

Range Rover Autobiography (2013)
At the end of May, my previous car (a special edition Range Rover) was written off in an accident. I was desperate to find another car and came across Smithfield. Fate landed a great car into my lap. I was able to quickly come and test drive. There were some small issues with the vehicle but Sam was quick to reassure me that he would deal with those as part of the purchase. He then worked really hard to make sure he could release the car to me as soon as possible. Over the next few weeks, due to work, I popped the car into them so that issues could be resolved. They loaned me a car for the day and quickly fixed the problems. Both Sam and Stuart are fantastic. Genuine people who just want to do a good job and make your life as easy as possible. I highly recommend Smithfield both as a dealership and for car repairs.

Had a really seamless experience with Smithfield Motors. Purchased an Audi A4 last week. Sam was really helpful and went the extra mile to ensure I was happy with the car. Timing belt, water pump and MOT freshly done on purchase. Warranty and Breakdown cover came with the car. Once I drove away I noticed the Air con wasn't working properly, rang Sam and he offered to cover the cost of an Air con regas, sent the invoice over and was paid from his pocket. He had every right to leave it to me to deal with as the car was already paid for, but he ensured I was happy even after the purchase. This sums up the whole experience.

There was no pushy sales, hidden catches or anything like that. Sam was just honest, helpful and transparent throughout the whole process.

Sam was accommodating and honest from when we first spoke to him about the car, and once we decided we wanted to move forward, Sam opened up on his day off which worked better for us given we had a couple of hours drive from Cambridgeshire. HONEST DEALER AND GREAT MECHANIC!
I needed a car for my wife which I wasn't able to source at the time (I'm a car trader myself) and I ended up finding the car my wife was after at Smithfield's. I am always a little weary when dealing with other traders as you never know who you are dealing with. I can honestly say Sam is probably the most genuine, fair and overall professional dealer I have dealt with in my 15 years of being in the trade. I put a deposit over the phone and made the journey to see the car and ended up driving it away the same day. The car was as described and Sam was very helpful and made us feel very secure about buying from him as he is also a fantastic mechanic and he made it clear if we ever had any issues he would do his best to help. After the 2nd month the car actually developed a slight issue with the thermostat so we called sam up expecting him to say sorry there is not much he can do about it. Well his response was straight away "no problem at all if you bring it up I will take a look and sort it out for you". We left it with him in the morning and by the afternoon it was all sorted and he didn't even ask for a penny! Its not often you come across places like this but you just get the feeling that Sam is not one of those dodgy dealers who doesn't care and he honestly tries his best! I would have no hesitation coming back here to buy another car and would also recommend to others! Thanks again

Buying a car is never as easy as you hope it will be, there is always a fly in the ointment, the salesman is pushy, the deal is not what you'd hoped, the after sales leaves a lot to be desired, the car presentation is disappointing. Having purchased my new to me jaguar from Sam at smithfield motors mkt Drayton I was overjoyed with it until 2 weeks later it developed a problem Sam was going to send someone to telford but I said I would drive it to his garage at 30/40mph that's all it would do having arrived it went straight into garage were they changed auto gearbox oil but not that back onto diagnostic and showed problem in turbo actuator were they found a broken wire which they duly fixed so once again thanks Sam can't recommend you after sales enough Mick Thomas

Porsche Cayenne
Sam was very friendly and welcoming and soon put the kettle. The car was exactly as advertised. Left me to examine the car and ask questions. I was very happy with the exchange price and purchased the car. It took just an hour to sort everything out and Sam did all the paperwork including notifying DVLA while I sorted the insurance. Even put some petrol in for me! Very happy with the car. Cannot recommend this garage enough. A pleasure to do business with from start to finish.

Saw car on Autotrader and emailed them my interest. , the owner promptly got back to me, did a WhatsApp live video and talked me through the car. I reserved the car with a small deposit. Went tbrough to look at the car, had a test drive and promptly bought the car. All the way through the process, Sam the owner was very professional and not at all pushy.. Excellent service, even to the point of ordering me an extra key blade and posting it on to me.. Would definitely recommend and would have no issues of buying from him again..
